- Vamos Program
This program appears as an attempt to respond to the recognized needs that the beneficiary population undergo as regards their complete inability to raise the resources needed to pay for the expenses incurred by food transport.
The name âVamosâ encloses the idea of action, movement, common impulse between the institutions and the FundaciÃ³n. It is an action in plural. We are all invited to join in our efforts and participate in order to make this a success.

- Food Handlers
The workshop on Food Handling for Feeding and Community Centers is held for the purpose of training people in food handling, hygiene and innocuousness.
- Nutritional Orientation
The aim of this program is to provide nutritional advice to a universe of receiving entities that express the need, or where it is perceived, for advice not only for healthy people, but also for those who have diseases that require a special diet.
Advice is also provided as to the nutritional contribution of foods that are not a part of the feeding habits of the entities, and which, therefore, they are not used to incorporating into their menus, but which they receive through the FundaciÃ³n.
This project seeks to contribute towards increasing the knowledge of the representatives of institutions as well as their beneficiaries, as regards the complex problem of food and nutrition, aiming at their participating actively.
- Generate work spaces between the organizations and the institutions and FBA. Train beneficiaries and representatives of the organizations and institutions, so that they learn about the importance of nutrition in food. Establish âexchanging experiencesâ spaces with the different organizations.
- Health and Hygiene
The Project consists of a series of talks/workshops delivered at the receiving entities. Each workshop will consist of two 90-minute talks with a 30 minute interval.
To contribute towards training the staff of organizations that belong to the Foundation, promoting the acquisition of knowledge on hygiene; food handling and conservation so that they are implemented in such a way as to improve the health and life quality of the beneficiary population.
Knowledge Exchange among all participants, aimed at strengthening the relationship between the recipient organizations participating in the workshops, and of those organizations and the FBA.
- Glass of Milk
This program consists of complementing the breakfast/afternoon snack of selected entities, with a food reinforcement, guaranteeing that a glass of milk be handed out every day. Also providing nutritional advice to the target public, supplying monthly diets; recipes and boosting the incorporation of food that is not included as part of their usual food habits.
- McCain Frozen French Fries
The âMcCAIN FROZEN FRENCH FRIESâ program began in November 2008 as a result of a donation of 600 tons of this product. A year after it began, we have managed to deliver approximately 470 tons, which is equivalent to 78% of the donation.
The average monthly delivery is of 38,492 Kgs. This program has benefited all the related social organizations, contributing towards feeding thousands of people in the Federal Capital and Suburban Buenos Aires.
