Feeding four hundred children six days a week, La Buena Voluntad (Goodwill) relies on the food bank donations and dedicated staff to make sure that warm meals reach the children each day. Located in Ciudad Oculta (Hidden City), La Buena Voluntad was converted from a warehouse into a home with two floors, including a dining room, a library, computer lab for teens, a tutoring area for elementary and middle school children, a photography workshop, and a nursery with staff providing care and nurturing for one hundred babies.

According to an article published in the newspaper La Nación on Saturday 4 February 2012, the community dining rooms that emerged in the midst of the 2001 economic crisis have been adapting in order to give all-round care to those who have been unable to get out of poverty.

Lack of work, social programmes' failure to cover all meals, lack of a comprehensive public policy that manages to lift the recipients out of poverty and inflation are some of the problems that dining rooms currently continue to face.

As a result of the hard work and commitment of everyone in our team, at the end of 2011 we successfully renewed the ISO 9001 Registration recertification that was obtained in 2010. The audit was carried out by Det Norke Veritas, after an extensive review of all our documentation and processes, whic included an evaluation of the various points of the ISO  9001: 2008 Requirements and our Quality Management System.
