3rd. Children’s Rights Fair

DSCF1010web

On November 20th. we had a stand at the 3rd. Children’s Rights Fair organized by the Pupi Foundation. Thus we joined in the celebrations for the Word Childhood Day by participating in the Education-Culture Field Day that took place at the central park of Lomas de Zamora. The day was devoted to the children, adolescents and their families and the community in general. It was a wonderful opportunity for exchanging experiences with other organizations and institutions that work towards aiding children.

We Have Moved In to a New House!

SAM_1722

As from November 21st. the Banco de Alimentos Foundation shall be operating from its new headquarters, adjacent to the previous one.

Once the overhaul process ended, we moved in to a 2,270 square-meter building. The size of the new warehouse is three times that of the one before, and will enable us to increase the volumes of the rescue program for fruit, vegetables and dairy products and introduce improvements in the classification of foodstuffs.

We hope to be able to significantly enlarge the impact of our programs during this new stage in which we are about to embark, not only as regards the amount of beneficiaries, but also the quality of the food that we deliver to them.

We invite you to continue providing us with your support so that this dream may come true. All of us together can improve the feeding situation of thousands of people whose food security is at risk, and so contribute towards their personal development!
